patron, sage, videographer
Steve Green
Steve Green played a critical role in the creation and style of the band. It’s neither fair nor legally permissible to refer to him as a mafia chieftan or kazakh despot or assyrian assassin or any kind of politically radical stranger lurking in any sumerian alleyway. Also, he did not blow up anything.

In memoriam
Mister mister Green was in many ways the heart and soul of the band, without ever touching an instrument or singing a note. He was in position to help us get started and build a foundation for our work, but more than anything, he believed in us. It was he who supplied the funds for our PA system, took on the task of creating our own record company, video recorded almost every gig, and was always there for us in every way. Byron and I had a special seat of honor for him in the Sheephouse, where he quietly watched and listened while we perfected our craft. He remained a close friend to the end, long after the band played its final set. He was always a gracious host on my travels and when times were hard, I knew he’d always be there for me. Until one day he wasn’t. I will always miss him terribly.
